A customer buys it

Your design goes live in the marketplace. When someone orders it, Stripe collects payment securely. Your commission is calculated instantly.

We produce & ship

We cut, weed and package the decal ourselves. Quality checked before every dispatch. Tracking sent directly to the customer.

You get paid

Once the 7-day return window has passed after delivery, your commission is approved and transferred directly to your connected Stripe account. This protects both you and the customer in the rare event of a return.

Commission is calculated on the decal sale price only — not shipping or VAT. Stripe fees shown are approximate (1.5% + 20p for UK cards).

Common questions

Commission is released 7 days after the order is delivered — once the customer return window has closed. We then transfer it directly to your connected Stripe account, usually within 1–2 business days.

Yes, you'll need to connect a Stripe Express account to receive payouts. This takes about 5 minutes and is completely free. You can do this from your designer dashboard.

There's no minimum. Commissions are paid per order item as they're fulfilled.

Customers have 7 days from delivery to request a return. Because commission is held during this window, if a return is approved your commission for that order is simply cancelled — you're never charged. If a refund is issued after commission has already been paid, DecalStars may deduct the amount from future earnings.

Currently DecalStars sets base prices by size and material. Your 20% commission is calculated on the final sale price. We're working on custom pricing for creators.
